In addition to our core focus of acquiring and redeveloping historic retail, mixed use and multifamily buildings in and around Columbus, OH and Washington, DC; JREP also selectively invests in larger retail shopping centers on a regional/national basis. We consider both co-GP and LP investment opportunities with well-qualified sponsors. Select representative investments are summarized below.
Lakeview Shopping Center: Parkersburg, West Virginia
This 70,172 square foot retail strip center is located along the primary commercial corridor in Parkersburg, WV. The center is shadow-anchored by a Value City Furniture. Tenants include Buffalo Wild Wings, H&R Block, Honeybaked Ham, Rent-A-Center, and Goodwill, along with several local retailers and restaurants. The property was purchased in 3Q 2024.
Riverside Shopping Center: St. Paul, Virginia
This 50,368 square foot retail strip center is located in St. Paul, VA; a small town in the heart of Appalachia. This is a popular tourist destination for water sports along the Clinch River. Tenants include Roses Discount Store, Virginia ABC, Ballad Health, and a Huddle House restaurant. The property was purchased in 3Q 2023.
Sleep Number Plaza: Easton, Maryland
This 9,165 square foot retail strip center is located in Easton, MD; a popular vacation and second home destination along the Maryland eastern shore, in close proximity to Washington DC, Baltimore and other major East Coast cities. Tenants include Verizon, Asurion, Sleep Number and Tropical Smoothie Cafe. The property was purchased in 3Q 2022.
